The EU UN Spotlight Initiative: Prevention of Campus Sexual Violence is a project initiated by the European Union and the United Nations. The focus is on eliminating all forms of violence against women and girls in Nigeria.
Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF) being an implementing partner on the UN Women Spotlight initiative project, is responsible for working with tertiary institutions within Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to address student-related gender-based violence in various campuses.
This call for application is open to ALL STUDENTS in TERTIARY institutions in Nigeria. The 4-week virtual classroom training is designed to help participants respond to the issues of sexual assault, the concept of consent, and how survivors can get adequate help.
At the end of the training, participants should be able to promote gender-equitable norms, attitudes, and behaviors, including on Comprehensive Sexuality Education in line with international standards, for in and out of school settings.
