Congratulations everyone, we survived January and Welcome to the month of February, the month of Love.
Valentine lovers in the house say yay!
January is usually the longest month of the year. I know we can all relate. I must confess that January started on a really fast note and it felt as if the month was running but the last two weeks felt like ten months. Lol Just adding a little exaggerating for the sake of emphasis (Hyperbole)
Come on January end already.
Today is all about gratitude. We should all reflect on the month of January and count our blessings.
I wrote down what I had accomplished for January and I was amazed at all I had accomplished.
Most times, we are so focused on the things we do not have and we fail to see the things that we actually have.
“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Melody Beattie
So, grab a pen and paper and write down the following;
- Write down all you have accomplished in the Month of January;
- Be thankful for all you achieved;
- All the things you did not achieve and
- Write down how you are going to try to achieve the things you did not achieve.
Trust me, I did it and I could not stop smiling. It is a fun exercise that allows you to reflect on the past month and its accomplishments. Be thankful for all you received, create, think and come up with innovative ways to achieve your set goals.
If you have a Vision Board, you can stick your gratitude notes for January on the board. If you do not you can keep the notes where you can always see it. This act will help keep you in a gratitude mode even when things are not going great.
Gratitude! Gratitude! Gratitude!
Please feel free to share your experiences in the comment sections after carrying out the exercise above.
Have a fun weekend and a beautiful February.
